While flying over the coral reefs, we were fortunate to spot whales with magnificent visibility and enjoy their jumps out of the water.

In the Uluru desert, accompanied by an astronomer, we were able to contemplate and photograph the Milky Way far from any light pollution. We also learned about Aboriginal culture, as we did in northern Australia, where we also navigated through beautiful gorges. And we were fascinated by the aquatic safari at dawn, spotting many birds, endemic flora, buffaloes, and crocodiles.
Australia is synonymous with koalas, as we saw on Magnetic Island, but we also saw many kangaroos and wallabies crossing the roads. And speaking of asphalt, the Great Ocean Road is one of the most scenic coastal roads in the world.
Sydney is a vibrant and very interesting city to visit for several days, and discovering Tasmania is a treat for hiking enthusiasts.

We chose to visit Samoa and the Cook Islands for their Polynesian charm and their ancient Maori culture. We attended a traditional cooking class and a dance and fire acrobatics show. Our most unforgettable experiences were swimming among turtles and in beautiful natural pools, sleeping over the water in an overwater bungalow, hiking while admiring tall waterfalls, practicing Hula, and sailing through the world’s most beautiful lagoon among deserted islets called motus, where each beach seems taken from a perfect canvas.
In Rarotonga, we rented the charming Kaireva Beach House, owned by our dear consul in the Cook Islands, and great friend Susanna, an incredible woman with a unique cultural and life background. We experienced an authentically local experience, and thanks to her and her endearing family, we enjoyed unforgettable moments. In Aitutaki, we discovered very exclusive and special accommodations.
In the Cook Islands, I was dressed as a bride by Aurkene Ormazabal Design, which combines heart and talent in equal parts. In addition to a beautiful tent adorned with torches and flower petals, placed on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, I also had at my disposal a traditional Maori boat (vaka).
